Good book, except for my kindle copy quit halfway thru book. Please explain. Like book very much of what I've read so far, would buy his second book. Am hoping to use Kindle more in future, and this is the first book out of fifty I've had this problem. You can tell I like the book if only because I've given it four stars despite being able to acess only half of this kindle copy. Any one else have that problem. Would like to to have hard copy except don't want to buy this twice.Product details

David Del Valle's memoirs of the back alleys of Hollywood is a fascinating piece of writing that illuminates many beloved and obscure cult figures. Ranging from personalities like Vincent Price, Gloria Stuart, and Kenneth Anger, Del Valle writes with much wit and humor about his times with these fascinating people. I would recommend the book to anyone interested in pop culture and film history at large.
The pages of David Del Valle's book feel like razor thin slices of still warm flesh. David tells it all from the deepest darkest of Ivar trenches to brushes with Canon Drive greatness and through it all what resonates is how much David is always in touch with the humanity of every denizen, from Christopher Lee to Timothy Leary to a car load of Chinese strippers he fed at Arby's late one night, many moons ago.
